My name is Pierre Mortel, I am a skeleton living in the French countryside. I have been painting since I was just a little bit. Since I couldn’t do it, I decided to focus on coming up with stories. Year after year, I created many comics until I came up with a character named Sadboy (see my previous post for one of his adventures). When I was writing Sadboy, a whole universe began to open up to me, a universe called the Sad City. It’s a weird place where fruits and ducks are spoken, where people get brain transplants and sell used bananas. But deep down he is very similar to our world. Now I am exploring this universe through my drawings and comics, and I think it will take me time. Along the way, I meet a lot of cool artists whose work I love, and every time I try to collaborate with them. Some of these collaborations are in these comics, and I recommend checking them out if you like mine!
